Dudelange
Ville de Dudelange applied as a local administration to the MUV call. The local administration and its services counts 600 staff members and the city has got 21070 inhabitants (21.02.2019). Its surface is 21 sqKm. The Ville de Dudelange was characterized for more than hundred years by its local steel industry which stopped its production completely in 2004. Dudelange is located right at the french border and twice a day thousands of cross-border commuters pass by Dudelange while driving to their working places or back home. Dudelange is connected to the public transport with 4 regional and 3 city bus lines and a train line as well. Dudelange has started in 2017 to set up a pedestrian guidance system and is working to transform its city center into a shared space.
