Three other projects were funded under the H2020 call MG-4.5-2016 and they are all currently co-creating and testing with different and dynamic local communities, various set of mobility solutions in several neighbourhoods around Europe. Guided by the CIVITAS Coordination and Support Action CIVITAS SATELLITE, all these projects are collaborating and exchanging with each other results and experiences on co-creation with citizens and local stakeholders.

Cities4People
Cities-4-People revolves around sustainable and people-oriented transport as a solution to the many challenges linked to mobility and faced by urban and peri-urban areas today. Aiming to implement mobility solutions developed by the people for the people, Cities-4-People taps into participatory practices of social innovation and neighbourhood governance and builds on three main pillars: citizens’ participation, community empowerment, and sustainable urban planning.
Cities-4-People unfolds in five European areas: the Oxfordshire County, Hamburg District of Altona, Üsküdar in Istanbul, Budapest and Trikala. In these areas Mobility Communities are set up involving citizens, city authorities, mobility providers and innovation experts. By developing and providing a framework of support services and tools, Cities-4-People empowers these communities to actively contribute to shaping their local mobility innovation ecosystems in line with a People-Oriented Transport and Mobility (POTM) approach. POTM encompasses a blend of new digital and social technologies under an inclusive and multidisciplinary approach in order to bring out solutions that have a low ecological footprint, a sharing mentality and the potential to solve real urban and peri-urban mobility issues.

Metamorphosis
The Metamorphosis project aims at transforming neighbourhoods in more liveable and shared spaces. The project starts from the premise that when a neighbourhood has many children in its public spaces (Gehl, 2013), this is a major indicator that it is well designed as a people-oriented and sustainable neighbourhood.
The partners of the project consist of seven European Partner cities, i.e., Alba Iulia (RO), Graz (AT), Meran (IT), Munich (DE), Southampton (UK), Tilburg (NL), and Zurich (CH), which seek to pursue the objectives of the project through the support of six national Research and Consultancy partners.The project applies an innovative and participatory approach, which encompasses the direct involvement of children as crucial players in each phase of the project – from planning through implementation, evaluation, and dissemination. During each phase of Metamorphosis children’s perspectives, suggestions, and ideas are highly valued as essential contribution to create more children-friendly cities.

Sunrise
SUNRISE is the acronym for Sustainable Urban Neighbourhoods Research and Implementation Support in Europe. The SUNRISE mission is to develop, implement, assess and facilitate co-learning about new, collaborative ways to address common urban mobility challenges at the urban district level through “neighbourhood mobility labs” and thus to lay the foundation for a Sustainable Neighbourhood Mobility Planning concept.
SUNRISE has its own empirical programme, that is, a carefully planned set of interventions in six “action neighbourhoods” within their respective city. Concretely, one neighbourhood each in the cities of Bremen, Budapest, Jerusalem, Malmö, Southend-on-sea will run a highly participatory “co-creation” process with their residents and stakeholders to identify local needs, to develop new transport solutions, to implement and to evaluate them – all with the guidance and assistance of the support partners urbanista, Rupprecht Consult, POLIS, Edinburgh Napier University – Transport Research Institute, Zaragoza Logistics Center and Koucky & Partners.

SAMBA
The Alpine region is defined by its characteristic landscapes, high biodiversity and sensitive ecosystems, which make it a unique natural system home to over 14 million people, living in eight countries. Yet, increasing environmental challenges such as growing air pollution and high emissions demand policy responses to protect this area. In SaMBA “Sustainable mobility in the Alpine Space”, 13 project partners from five countries (Italy, France, Austria, Slovenia and Germany) will look at the high level of dependency on private cars, the mismatch of sustainable transport options and people’s mobility needs, with the aim of increasing the use of sustainable transport options.
The project will thus elaborate and test reward and pricing policies, in order to trigger behaviour change in mobility patterns. A tool will be developed that allows planning authorities to estimate the impact of such mobility-related behavioural change policies. In bringing together partners from five countries, the projects will support the harmonisation of policies throughout the region.

LIFE ASPIRE
LIFE ASPIRE (Advanced logistics platform with road pricing and access criteria to improve urban environment and mobility of goods) aims at developing an innovative system useful to the city of Lucca by implementing a number of regulatory, organisational and operational measures. Three technological systems will be tested in Lucca urban area: a smart monitoring system for freight vehicles, within the RTZ, using RFID sensors; an innovative system for monitoring freight loading/unloading bays and a service of cargo-bike sharing dedicated to the logistics operators. The integrated management and control of these systems will be done through a dedicated platform, a device that will allow to manage freight urban mobility in a “smart” manner. From another point of view, the actions will update the current regulation introducing a new credit system encouraging sustainable behaviours and awarding virtuous freight transport operators.The demonstration activities in Lucca will be complemented by the replicability and transferability analysis of the implemented measures and services to the cities of Zadar (Croatia) and Stockholm (Sweden), taking into account the peculiarity of their different contexts.

GOEASY
The GOEASY project will provide the technical and business foundations to enable a new generation of trusted and dependable mass-market Location Based Services and Applications to engage, stimulate and reward citizens for more sustainable behaviours and healthier choices. This three-years project contributes to the consolidation of an environmentally aware and engaged public community in the EU, while delivering added value innovative solutions for Location Based Services and opening new scenarios and opportunities for Smart City solutions (by enabling innovative LBS and IoT services). The research outputs are relevant for EU citizens lives, promoting a healthier environment, increasing sustainability in cities, creating employment opportunities and improving existing technologies. GOEASY will be evaluated by means of two concrete use cases, namely the ApesMobility and the AsthmaWatch, both evaluated engaging real users in a medium-scale pilot in Torino (Italy) and Stockholm (Sweden).
